Having a dream is never a bad thing, unless you choose not to make it a reality.

They've helped crank things up for us in the past, but this time My American Heart warm things up by stepping a little gentler on the gas and showing that they are a multifaceted group of musicians.

With a resume that lists singing with the likes of Joe Jackson, Peter Gabriel, and Laurie Anderson, it should come as no surprise that vocalist Joy Askew's builds her lyrics around musical moods to entwine and mirror the emotion of each song.

We close the warm up with legendary blueswoman Marcia Ball whose piano playing and passionate vocals merge the sound of Gulf Coast and Austin R&B into her trademark sound that can blow the roof off a hall or wrap you gently in a blanket.

46 Bliss crank things up with their Beatlesque harmonies blending with a hypnotic, infused beat before Victor Imbres returns from a self imposed hiatus from music to recharge and refocus, and proves the time off was well put to use. Something Victor Imbres also shows with his return to music after a ten year layoff.

Chieko Kinbara shows what happens when a member of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and clubland producer decides to put the influences of both together along with musicians from around the world to come up with a fusions vibrant classical strings, Latin and World-beat percussion, and soulful melodies.

Grammy nominated Jay-J shows off why he is called the producer with the golden touch as he takes the sound of Clay Acox and remixes it with a soulful and sultry dance floor vibe and funk groove that is picked up by  Tosca (aka Viennese producers Rupert Huber and Richard Dorfmeister), before the self-styled 'official ambassadors of cosmopolitan cool, The Pinker Tones, bringing us the sound of Barcelona.

The Orb hits us with their rhythmic blend of Indians rhythms, bumping basslines, and a touch of disco, and we then close the workout with Fish Go Deep from Ireland.

Catherine Russell cools things down with a voice as smooth and silky as a lazy river on a Sunday afternoon and as big as a bass drum that oozes emotion in every note as we then shift into the bluesy folk feel of Canadian JC Campbell to bring things to a close.
